New roses :Spring 2010 |
This is my roses at the beginning of spring 2010.
I've used a system where I've marked every group of roses with a marker where I wrote something about the rose and combined it with a photo and the price. But I've found that most of the people buying roses from me just want a certain color. Therefor I've discarded this idea and now only indicate the colour and the price of the roses. It seems to work well.
The best thing about this photograph is that all of these roses have been sold at the beginning of September 2010. I'm delighted and therefore I've "made" a lot of roses this year, more than ever. Some of them from cuttings, because most of the miniature roses work very well from cuttings. Even some hybrid tea roses work well from cuttings. The other roses I've grafted. And there is a lot for a guy that do this for a hobby. Luckily there is always an interest in roses, and I am so glad because now I can use the money I make from roses, to keep this hobby of mine alive.
